Growing up on the Jersey Shore, Ava and I were raised by the waves. All year long, all we thought about was how soon we could step foot in the sand at the Cove beach in Cape May, New Jersey. We would save our money and buy as many Cape May sweatshirts and surf shop knick-knacks as we could to bring the magic of the summer home for the year. Starting Salty sisters allowed us to encapsulate the bright memories of summer into clothes and crochet that you can wear and display all year long, filling each day with warmth and adventure.
